I made this album using Melisa Frances “First Class Mail Paper Collection”, Marion Smith’s digital designs “Sewing Box” series downloadable papers, Prima flowers, various Tim Holtz trinkets etc., various laces, Hug Snug seam binding ribbon. I, also, used the Tim Holtz “Sewing Room die and Tim Holtz “Caged Bird” die. I used a lot of sewing ephemera from my computer files that I have saved for a few years. Most of the tags were made from the paper lines and various sized shipping tags. I am still in the scope of using some of my older scrapbooking supplies, therefore I tried to incorporate them in this album. I love all the new Prima lines as I had stated in the last couple of posts and before I go wild and crazy I want to use up some of my stash to justify new purchase. LOL!!!. I also wanted to mention that on page (9) the sewing box is my actual sewing box, I took a picture of it and printed (2) copies and made this cute die cut, and lined the inside top cover with fabric similar to my sewing box and took a picture of the inside showing my sewing supplies. My passion for vintage sewing memorabilia, old buttons, spools of thread were a must for this album. I didn’t really decorate the dress forms elaborately in this album, just wanted the plain and subtle feel to them. I recently finished another dress form book using “My Teddyboo” dress form book. I will post a link to her website if you are interested in ordering one of her albums.http://myteddyboo.com/. Please leave a comment on my page under the chat a while on the left side of my blog home page let me know what you think about this album.
